Your AI team of experts.
On your own secure server.
A Conveyancer today, with more experts on the roadmap. AI experts that assist the professionals doing the work, not replace them: each finds the current UK source, runs the numbers, reviews the documents you upload, and answers with citations. You keep the judgement; it does the legwork. Ask one directly, or let Node+ bring the right ones together.
Built for firms that can’t send client data to US servers. From £299/month, typically live within 48 hours.
Your AI team
Named experts that assist your team.
Each expert assists the professional doing the work: it searches the current UK sources, runs its own calculators, reads your documents, and replies with one cited answer. You keep the judgement and the client relationship. Ask an expert directly, or let Node+ bring the right ones together.

Our mission
To give every regulated SME the same AI capability as the big firms, without compromising on data sovereignty or compliance.
Enterprise AI vendors want six figures and six months. US tools create CLOUD Act exposure you can’t contract away. We built the third option.
What’s the statutory redundancy consultation period for 50 employees?
When proposing to dismiss 20–99 employees within 90 days for redundancy, collective consultation must begin at least 30 days before the first dismissal. For 100 or more, this extends to 45 days.
Consultation must cover ways to avoid dismissals, reduce numbers affected, and mitigate consequences.
TULRCA 1992, s.188Calculate the SDLT on a £475,000 residential purchase, not a first-time buyer.
£13,750 total SDLT. Breakdown: £0 on the first £250,000, then £11,250 at 5% on the next £225,000.

Company Knowledge Base
Your own files. UK intelligence. One answer.
Connect your Google Drive, OneDrive, or SharePoint and a read-only copy syncs to your dedicated server, never ours. Your precedents and case files, searched alongside legislation.gov.uk, Companies House, and HMRC in the same conversation. Every answer cites both.
Knowledge Base add-on: from £99/mo per source. Included free in Growth and Studio plans.
Search your files alongside UK law
Ask a question and the AI searches your contracts, case files, and policies, then cross-references against UK legislation in the same answer.

Common questions
Why can’t we just use Microsoft Copilot?
+
Microsoft is a US company subject to the CLOUD Act. US authorities can compel access to data regardless of where it’s physically stored. For UK regulated firms handling client-confidential information, this creates a compliance risk that can’t be contracted away. PrivateNode processes everything in European jurisdiction with zero US legal exposure.
How is this different from tools like Harvey or Legora?
+
Harvey and Legora are excellent enterprise products built for large law firms with enterprise budgets and US-based infrastructure. PrivateNode is purpose-built for UK regulated SMEs: fixed monthly pricing from £299, EU-only data processing, and UK-specific regulatory intelligence (legislation.gov.uk, HMRC, Companies House, FCA Handbook) that US tools don’t have natively.
What about professional body guidance on AI?
+
SRA, ICAEW, RICS, and REC guidance all require firms to understand where client data is processed and maintain confidentiality obligations. Our architecture (dedicated EU infrastructure, zero retention, ISO 27001 certified hosting, full audit trails) addresses these requirements directly. We provide compliance documentation for your risk assessment.
Can we combine our own documents with UK legislation?
+
Yes. Your contracts, policies, and precedents are indexed alongside legislation.gov.uk, Companies House, and tribunal decisions on your dedicated server. One query searches both your archives and live UK law, with citations to both.
Who owns our data?
+
You do. PrivateNode acts as a data processor under your instructions. You remain the data controller at all times. We provide a full Data Processing Agreement as standard, covering GDPR Article 28 requirements. Your data is stored on your dedicated server in EU jurisdiction, never shared with other clients, and never used for model training.
