About Private Node
Sovereign AI infrastructure for UK regulated firms. Founded on a simple thesis: regulated businesses shouldn’t have to choose between AI innovation and data sovereignty.
Who We Are
Private Node is a UK-based Managed Intelligence Provider and a trading name of Twakka Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 14001176). We build dedicated, single-tenant AI environments that give professional services firms enterprise-grade AI capabilities without sending client data outside the UK and EU.
We were founded on a simple thesis: Regulated businesses should not have to choose between AI innovation and data sovereignty.
Every deployment combines AI models running on European infrastructure with a three-layer knowledge stack: authoritative UK regulatory data (legislation.gov.uk, Companies House, HMRC manuals), your firm’s own documents, and live specialist search, all cited to source.

Founder
My background is in data and analytics, and in getting practical AI actually working inside large organisations rather than leaving it in a slide deck. The hard part was rarely the model. It was the plumbing, the governance, and being able to show where an answer came from.
I built PrivateNode because the firms I spoke to kept describing the same deadlock. They could see what AI would do for the research and the drafting, and they could not put a client file into a tool that processes it in another jurisdiction and will not tell them where the answer came from.
So this is the version that answers both. Your own server, your own data, and every answer traceable to the statute or the document it came from. It is deliberately narrow: UK law and tax, for the kinds of firms where being wrong has consequences.

To give every regulated SME the same AI capability as the big firms, without compromising on data sovereignty or compliance.
Enterprise AI vendors want a long procurement and a budget an SME does not have. US tools create CLOUD Act exposure you can’t contract away. We built the third option.

SOVEREIGNTY FIRST
We engineer systems where data residency is a law, not a feature. Our infrastructure relies strictly on UK and GDPR-adequate data centres in Finland and Germany.
ZERO DATA RETENTION
We believe in ephemeral processing. We partner only with inference providers who contractually guarantee that your data is forgotten instantly.
